Rope as a practice of presence, connection, and collaboration.
I am a shibari artist, photographer, and rope consultant based in Brussels.
My work centres on the creation of meaningful experiences through rope. Whether in private sessions, artistic photography, or creative productions, I combine technical expertise with a strong focus on connection, communication, and presence.
Drawing inspiration from Yukimura Haruki's philosophy of tying, I approach rope as a collaborative practice. Every tie is shaped by the dynamic between two people, creating space for exploration, trust, curiosity, and authentic expression.
Over the years, I have worked with people discovering rope for the first time, tied with many experienced models, and collaborate with teams looking to integrate shibari into artistic projects. While each context is different, my goal remains the same: to create work that is thoughtful, intentional, and grounded in respect for the people involved.
My private sessions offer a space for exploration and connection. My photography focuses on beauty, form and the unique ways rope can transform how we see ourselves. Through artistic consultancy, I support film, photography, and performance projects with safe, visually coherent rope work that serves the creative vision of the production.
At the heart of everything I do is a belief that rope is more than a technique. It is a medium through which people can connect, create, and discover new perspectives.
If my work resonates with you, I would be delighted to hear from you.
